How to find your shared URL post (GIVEAWAY MECHANIC)

Giveaways are a way to invite more readers to ones blog. I host them from time to time so as a preparation for my upcoming giveaway, I want to show you how to complete a common mechanic found on most giveaways:

"Share this post/photo and paste the URL of the shared post."

~~~~
This post will be a reference for future giveaways I will host (and for bloggers out there who requires this mechanic on their blog). Most of the time, one mechanic in joining my giveaways is to share a photo or post on facebook PUBLICLY and paste the URL on the required field to claim the raffle point.
Here are simple steps on how to do it.
After sharing the photo or post of the ongoing giveaway PUBLICLY, go to your timeline and look for that post you shared.
Click on the time or date found on the post. This will direct you to the web page of that post as pictured below:
Copy the URL found on the address box of your browser (this is what they call the PERMALINK of your shared post) and paste it on the Giveaway app you are joining to earn the points for that mechanic:
or on the comment box of that giveaway photo on facebook (if it's required as a mechanic.)
Just make sure your shared post is on public mode so that the I can can confirm your raffle point at the end of the giveaway.
That's it! I hope this post is clear enough for you guys. :D
Good luck on joining online giveaways!
Shopping out of town + Hatah Hatah Shop Feature
When I go on vacation out of town, I really make sure that I get to shop in one of the malls of that particular city. Here in my place, Zamboanga City, we don't have big malls with several famous shops. Heck, we only have one Otaku store that sells a limited variety of anime goodies. That's the reason why I go gaga over mall shopping and I really can't miss visiting even a small mall to buy the things I usually can't find locally.
The 3 types of shop that I always visit are:
  1. Otaku/Anime/Cosplay shop
  2. Makeup store
  3. Bookstore
Usually, while visiting these shops, I splurge a lot on things that I want and need. And well, spending a lot does not make me feel guilty as I rarely do this. I usually save up enough money before going on vacation so that I can buy those things I've been looking for.
One example is my vacation last week. I accompanied my mom to her business trip to Cagayan de Oro City and I lived with my cousins there. I really love visiting the city because of it's simplicity, it's wide variety of shopping malls and it's cheap public transportation fees.
So after hanging out with my aunt and cousin, they took me to the mall to do some quick shopping. And I bought a few things with my hard-earned money from selling floral accessories over at Fabric Flowers By Cee.
Makeup Haul
I think i bought too many lippies. Don't you think? :)
What I love about visiting Watsons is the helpful staff that mans almost every makeup stand in the store. They are really friendly and helpful when I visit the shop and they almost always interact to their customers about the makeup products that are available. They aren't one of those annoying kind of sales staff - the ones that watch you like a hawk when you browse each product.
(I rarely encounter friendly staff in the local stores here in Zamboanga City and when I sometimes browse products from department stores, the staff almost always watch you like a vulture... ready to attack once you pick an item. I don't like that at all!)
I got amused by the black lipstick available. I think this would be a perfect product for a Halloween Party makeup! :) I bought a couple of lip balms for my girlfriends. And I found a matte pink lipstick for everyday use. I will definitely make an in-depth video blog on these products!
Plus - I found this leg makeup from Nichido. Perfect for your imperfect legs! (I tend to cosplay characters in sailor fuku and I admit I have imperfect legs. I hope this will cover those leg scars and uneven skin tone.)
Otaku Goodies!
Whoopsie~! I wasn't able to notice that my feet got into the frame. Ignore them! LOL
I can't really miss visiting an otaku shop whenever I am shopping at Centrio Ayala. So I visited Comic Alley!
After being recently addicted to FREE!, I bought my very own Iwatobi High School Swim Club jacket! This will make me feel like I belong to the swim team. LOL
Then even tho I don't really need one, I wasn't able to resist buying the Arabian FREE! mouse pad.
I got a bit disappointed when I discovered that they only have about three merchs of Dangan Ronpa The Animation. *sob* One was a Monokuma bear (I have that already). The other was a Monokuma cosplay hoodie (I am planning to cosplay Junko, not Monokuma! LOL). So I ended up buying the Principal's Office key for that I decided to give to a friend. I hope this friend likes it! :)
Iwatobi High School Swim Club Member Jacket
Because of the time constraints, I wasn't able to visit National Bookstore for a book or two. Sigh. Maybe that's the reason why I had a dream of shopping for books last night! LOL. The books are haunting me!
Extra! Extra! Extra!
Before I got out of town last week, I ordered a couple of shirts from my favorite hat shop
What I ordered? No surprise here: Iwatobi Swim Club's Secret Shirt!
Forgive the crumpled shirt. I just took it out from the courier's receptacle. ^_^
Why is it called the 'secret shirt'? Well, you have to watch the first season to know the answer! LOL
Anyway, I contacted Jayne of Hatah Hatah to order shirts for me and for a friend and she replied immediately and the transaction went smoothly. She even gave me a big discount! Such a wonderful person! The shirts I got are really good in quality and it fits nicely. I am so happy of my purchase and for sure I will be ordering again from them in the future! 5/5 shopping experience!
Iwatobi HSSC's secret shirt :)
I admit that I don't really shop frequently... but when I do, I tend to spend a lot! LOL. I always shop when I go on out of town vacations and I usually buy stuff that aren't found in the local stores. The other thing that I love about shopping out of town is the fact that the customer service is better than most of the shops here in the city. The sales staff are very nice when it comes to helping customers and they are attentive to the needs of those people who visit their establishments. It may not be always perfect but it's much better. I hope customer service of the malls here in Zambo will slowly improve in the future.
What do you love to buy when you go out of town? Comment down your answers!
PS:
I never thought this post will be this long! LOL Thank you for reading!
Quick Post: Back for Good!
Hey guys! I've been out for a few weeks due to our unstable Internet connection. After a lengthy phone call to the Internet provider's customer service representative, they sent out repairmen to work out our problem.
And now I am back in the game!
Anyway, this is just a short post about my new obsession:
I started a new hobby which is doll collecting. I have been browsing on the world wide web for a couple of years now for articulated dolls that are very famous in Asia.
Fashion doll Pullip is famous for their articulated body and large head. One of its best features is its un-rooted hair - it wears a wig that you can remove and change, a feature that appeals me as a cosplayer. This and the fact that the owner can change it's eyes give me the chance to make my doll 'cosplay' or dress her up as an anime character.
I just recently acquired her and currently I am in the process of learning how to sew costumes for her shoots and cosplays. The photo above is from her first and latest photo shoot in our front yard. I used my 50mm prime lens and a reflector. I have received favorable comments on this shot which gives me the urge to make more costumes for her.
More photos soon! I shall sort this set out after editing my last fashion shoot with HaruSuika: Shironuri Fashion. Will be posting a teaser here soon.
Thank you so much for hanging on!
Have a #JollyBreak, Have a Jollibee Mixins with Kitkat! - Jollibee Mix-ins Bloggers Event
I've been so focused with my budding shop these days that I usually stay up late just to finish orders. At daytime, I shop at different craft stores for materials. The weather is not helping. Although it rains here sometimes, the heat after it is becoming unbearable as summer approaches. At the end of every shopping (walking to at least five different shops, each far away from the other) I feel tired and thirsty and hungry!
Usually, before I go home, I take a short break by eating something to relieve my hunger.
Speaking of breaks, Jollibee just launched a new campaign on making break times more enjoyable. I learned a lot about their new product last week! It was an informative yet fun activity for us ZBloggers who were invited to try the new dessert in the mentioned fast food menu.
Sir DJ Santos, thru ate Kai Grafia, invited us Zamboanga Bloggers to their promotional event last March 18, 2014 at the Jollibee Camins Branch. He was also the one who introduced to us the Jollibee KitKat Mixins and it's 'goodness in every scoop'!
Mr. DJ Santos discussing how breaks can be very rewarding to workaholic students and young adults.
Having break times once in a while while working is good for the body. It gives us a 'time out' from the stressful environment that we have in your workplace
Of course, while taking a time out from all the stress, we usually look for something to munch on and enjoy this break much more.
Having dessert is a great way to relieve stress during break time.
And, if you talk about desserts, why not try Jollibee's newest treat?
Jollibee KitKat Mixins!
Now we can enjoy our break in a whole new level with Jollibee's KitKat Mixins!
"Crushed KitKat mixed in vanilla soft serve and caramel syrup.
Goodness in every scoop! Only 38PhP per serving."
It was my first time to try the new KitKat mixins and I must say, I was impressed! The dessert presented to us was more 'ice-creamy' than I expected. Compared to previous Jollibee mixins which the chocolate was tiny but whole, I was able to notice that the chocolate bars were crushed well. But when I tried the first scoop, I was able to taste the chocolate and wafer signature of KitKat in it!
(It really tips me off when I don't get the taste that I am expecting in a food. So yeah, the KitKat taste that I was looking forward to to this dessert was a big PLUS!)
The caramel syrup was a beautiful touch to the dessert. It added to the crave that I had after finishing the whole cup. LOL! (Me want moaaar!!)
I was not the only one who enjoyed every scoop of this dessert. Celebrity seatmate Kai Grafia of www.kaigrafia.com was loving her cup of goodness too! You can see it in this photo. :D
After the presentation, Jollibee came out and danced for us! LOL
I know I am not a child anymore but I really love mascots and I always enjoy watching them perform! :)
I had fun with my #JollyBreak with the ZBloggers that day! Top it off with a satisfied appetite with Jollibee KitKat Mixins and fries.
Thank you so much, Mr. Santos for inviting us and introducing Jollibee KitKat Mixins!
I really enjoyed my cup that day and I can't wait to have more of it!
I am looking forward to Jollibee's next bloggers' event!
Happy Birthday to Me! 2013 and 2104
Hey guys! Reviewing my photos, I just realized that I have not posted any photos of last year's birthday party! Overdue birthday post starts now!
Well, it was nothing special really. Just a small celebration with a few friends and family.
The last few months of my senior year in college was such a drag! I was haggard from head to foot fulfilling requirements and completing duty hours in time for graduation. So... forgive my no-upkeep look here! It was my birthday but I did not really prepare my self for the celebration!
HaruSuika Production team on my birthday. :D
Gin, Gel, Aly, Gail and Sheed
My otaku friends went on my birthday!!!! Of course they would. These people would go anywhere for food. and I love them for that. LOL.
Well, we chatted a lot and took selfie photos on the iPad. I totally forgot what we talked about that day but I am sure we had lots of fun doing it.
Thank you for gracing my birthday. :D
Classmates with me puppies!! Poor irvin. :))
Irvin, Rie, Charles and Rhea.
My classmates came too. <3 They attempted to bag my puppies. >_< I still love you guys.
With my cousin, Mikee.
My aunts and cousin came and we celebrated my birthday. I think everybody was busy that night. I can't find any photos during the munch time. :))
Look at some of the goodies that I received that year! <3
Back to the future!
So here are some of the highlights of the celebration:
My birthday last month was a blast!
A lot has changed over the year and I am more accomplished now. I graduated and passed the Nursing Licensure Exam. Oh yes and I look a little better than last year's birthday party. :))
I love this dress. It has these vintage puffy sleeves and print!
Photo by Gin. She was trying out my new prime lens, the nifty fifty!
Only three of them came. (Gracian, Gin and Sheed)
Aly is now living out of town and Gail has a day job that she can't leave. We are all mature now! :D
 It was a surprise visit! I was not even ready. LOL
I love these people.
Oh yeeyy! Dressed up as the birthday girl nao..
They came and ate and we watch Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. Of course we enjoyed that movie. It was all about food, the topic we are all experts at. ^_^
They went home early because they still had evening classes that day. Thank you for coming, guys! I had fun even though we only bonded for a short time.
Anyway, I got three cakes this year!
Red Ribbon cake, the Hello Kitty cake and custard cake.
I love cakes! <3 yum!
This cake has 'Happy Birthday' in Japanese romanji. ^_^
AAAND my kawaii Hello Kitty cake from a kawaii person. Thank you so much for this! Never thought of receiving a HK cake on my birthday. :D
The nomnoms during my birthday. Ate a lot that night
Thank you so much for the greetings and birthday wishes last month! I really appreciate it.
And thank you for joining my birthday giveaway. I hope you enjoyed it.
A lot can change over a year.
I changed, not only in appearance but deep within I believe I matured a lot in one year.
I have a different outlook in life now. I now have goals and dreams that I want to achieve, and changes that I want to do in my life (changes for the better, like my appearance for example).
In one year, I had a direction, a path that I want to go.
This year, I am hoping the things that I am about to do will bring me closer to the dream that I want to fulfill.
Wish me luck on my journey!
The crazy caterpillar is slowly becoming a beautiful butterfly. :)
Love lots,
Cee is BACK! + AWESOME ANNOUNCEMENTS
Hello guys! It's been a while.
I think you have noticed my absence this past couple of months without announcing it here on my blog.
Please forgive me! The reason why I was not able to update on my blog is that I was reviewing for the licensure examination for nurses that I took last December 7 and 8. The exam was pretty much important to me so I had to focus on studying
My accessory shop went on hiatus too. I stopped taking orders on Fabric Flowers by Cee. My online life pretty much went laylow.
AND I also stopped cosplaying and attending/hosting photo shoots. I missed that part of my life! I miss wearing makeup and costumes. Sigh.
Anyway, now I am back for good and I have great plans for my blog! I'll be starting my revival with an awesome giveaway for you all!
A clue for that upcoming giveaway: a product essential to cosplayers. <3 Yaay!!
Stay tuned for more details!
Thank you for supporting me til now.
Cee won Ying Tze's Giveaway~!
Okay so after a few days of not blogging, I am back again. I am having problems with the Internet connection back home. The customer service agent of the company keeps on telling me that they are having the lines fixed since last week and they won't be able to tell me when the connection will become stable again.
I can't take the isolation! The place where I live is on alert level (my city is under siege, yeah I know it sounds  medieval but it's true), I can't go outside and do other things so I am stuck at home... It was terrifying. D:
Anyway, I'm at my cousin's house at the moment.. leeching their connection. Haha. So this post will only be quick as lightning. I can't stay long here.
So yeah, I just want to share how I won Ying Tze's (on of my favorite cosplay idols) giveaway!
YAAY!
About her giveaway...
She announced it on her facebook fan page that she will be giving away 8 sets of prints and coscards to lucky winners in celebration of her recent Facebook milestone: 8000 page likes ~!
From the description of the photo:
"As promised , this is my 8K Giveway ! I will be giving out 8 sets of my postcard size prints ( Neko , Kuro Usagi , Miku and Sonico ) + my coscard ! To participate , you just need to tell me : Which cosplay of mine is your favorite and Why do you like my cosplay ?
I'll pick 8 answers that I like the most ~ Good Luck !"
I saw this on my news feed and tried to join in. I just typed in what I remember that day:
The first time I saw her in that Mari Makinami cosplay, I instantly became her big fan!
I joined the giveaway because I just want to let her know how a big fan I am of her works, this opportunity where she will read all of her fans' post (even the long ones) comes rarely so I just grabbed it!
Then five days later, I saw this update on my news feed:
THERE'S MY NAME! NUMBER 6! I am winner number 6! I won a set of her prints and coscard!
This will be my first time in owning a cospalyer's print. I never really buy or collect some famous cosplayer's print. I rarely fan girl any cosplayer but when I do, I turn on my fanstalk mode. Haha! I research everything about this certain cosplayer I choose to idol and follow his/her accounts and or blog.
So yeah, maybe that explains why I don't own any print presently. And I am so happy that Ying Tze's prints will be the first ones that I will own.
The feels.. everywhere!
I wish I can get back to my regular blogging days. I wish the connection will go back the way it used to be. D:
Anyway, thank you so much for reading!
My upcoming trip to Quezon City (Cosplay Vacation)
Hey guys! I will be attending the upcoming Fantasy Quest 3, a cosplay event to be held at Ferwood Gardens on August 25, 2013. I will be travelling to Quezon City for a short cosplay vacation!
This will be my first cosplay event outside Zamboanga. I hope this won't be the last. :)
I've been wanting to attend Fantasy Quest since 2011! I will be wearing a gown on that day (the character I am going to cosplay is a princess!). I've read that Fernwood Gardens is a four-star venue, so wearing a gown might be good for it. I am excited to meet new cosplaying friends.
Source
I'll be attending TORCH North Edsa and International Cosplay Day at SM North Edsa on August 24. I will go as Miku Hatsune for the first time. What version? Well, watch out for that!
That's it for my update! BTW, I have an ongoing giveaway on my Favebook page.
Anarchy Panty Wig and Makeup Trial
Hey guys! So I wanted to try on a few makeup styles before my guest appearance on the promotional walk/ramp of the Otaku Attaku AdZU cosplay event inside the AdZU campus. This makeup took me almost an hour to put on because of all the experimenting that I did with my products. At least now (after doing this trial), I know what to apply on the day of the promo walk.
Another reason for this trial is to find the perfect makeup combination for my upcoming Anarchy Panty cosplay shoot with my partner Bea as Stocking in a hotel downtown.
Anyway, here are some of the self-captured shots that I took after I did the makeup. Sorry for the low quality photos!
Styled Anarchy Panty wig by yours truly! I made an ahoge by tying a few strands of the wig on top of my head using rubber bands. Then I trimmed one long "bang" and sprayed on lots of hairspray to group this portion of fibers together. I also spiked the wig fibers on top and on the rest of the wig using the same hairspray.
I think I need to soften the pink eyeshadow next time. Or maybe I just need to blend it in more.
Panty's eyeshadow in the series is pink, so I tried doing pink smokey eyes effect on my lids.
For my eyebrows, I used yellow eyeshadow to match the wig color.
Then I used fake lashes to achieve pretty anime-like eyes. For my lips, I used AVON in nude shade first then L.A. Colors Lilac Frost for the second coat. This combination gave a light shade of pink for my lips.
So I am pretty much satisfied with this makeup trial. It's evident on the number of self-captured shots I took after finishing the makeup. LOL
So that's it for this post! I would love to hear your opinions on this comment. I want to improve this look in any way. Comment your suggestions down below!
PS:
This is the official promotional poster for the upcoming AdZU cosplay event on July 29! I will be appearing as a guest cosplayer on that day. I can't wait!
