Kigurumi Party Teaser

Here's the teaser for our mini kigurumi party last June 1. I invited my friends over for a mini-shoot in these mascot pajamas I own. It turned out to be quite a party and we had so much fun!

Take a look at Doraemon here. She's not following orders! Swinging her head on the opposite direction. haha

Now everybody is swinging their head on the same direction. Yaay!

And now headbang/crazy retarded people/ I don't know what's happening with them. Haha. Blame it on watching Battle Royale!

I'll write more about this day soon when I am settled with my classes, schedules and all. School just started so I am still adjusting like a freshman after that long summer vacation. Haha.

Note: This is not COSPLAY. It's some kind of fashion popular in Japan.

Open Cosplay Photoshoot Day 2

Day Two of the Open Cosplay Shoot! A lot of cosplayers reached out to us, asking if they can be a part of a shoot so we did not have any choice but to let them in. It was still fun though a little bit crowded on the venue. We saw new faces on that day too! So happy to have met you guys! :)

It was one of my first cosplay shoots with my new camera and it was a little difficult at first but still I learned a lot with the help of another photographer: Kei.

Enough of that. LOL. These are some behind-the-scene photos from that day:

This is one interesting photo. We (Kei and I) were shooting Bea here when Kei rushed to a our bags to get something. I think Bea was asking the people on the steps if Reji (the next cosplayer) is now ready for his shoot.

This is Lara! She's a new friend and she's very nice. She was Misa Amane on the first day and a kawaii maid on the second. Can I hire her? Please? :D

I took a photo of her (first shot) without her knowledge, then a "Hey Lara" on the second. That's why she looks a little bit unprepared. 

Fooling around next. I did minimal antics that day since I was wearing not-so comfortable clothes. Haha.

Haha I don't know what's wrong with me here. wtf. :D

Fun in the Island of Camiguin

First day

My long awaited vacation to Camiguin Island! Finally, after about six years, we went back to this beautiful island for the Holy Week vacation. It was so nice to see my family and cousins again. To be able to bond with them was one of the things that I look forward to in every vacation.

This trip also gave me the chance to take photos and practice with my camera. More on nature photos those days since I wanted to capture almost all of the tourist spots of the island.

Stepping stones

A few stones near our rest house intrigued me. When I asked about, I discovered that it serves as a ladder to a tomb farther up the mountain.

I have this very cute photo of me taken by my cousin during our trip. Haha I love how I looked nice in it. What do you think? :)

The Sun Shines on the Ruins

Old Church Ruins. I love how the sun rays kissed the old building.

Sunken Cemetery

Another landmark in Camiguin, the Sunken Cemetery is a victim of the earthquakes and volcanic eruptions that happened years ago. Mom commented that this photo looks like a postcard.

Island Souvenirs

These tiny slippers are magnets for refrigerators. I was really fascinated by the colors of these souvenirs that most of my shots in this album are trinkets and whatnots that say "Camiguin" on it. 

I did not have enough money to buy these lovely things so I just took photos of them. Gladly, the vendors did not mind me taking a few shots at all.

Bracelets for Sale

I really wanted a couple of these accessories that time. Too bad I did not have enough money to buy some. 

Again, if you cannot buy it, take a photo of it! 

White Island Paradise

Went to the famous island to take photos. A lot of my good shots was from this tourist spot.

Splash!

This was after the jumpshot by my cousins in the island. I find it more beautiful than the jumpshot itself because of the laughter that was caught in this one. 

I am glad that I took a photo of this moment and preserved it forever.

We remember Him...

That week was still Holy week. All the fun aside, we need to remember what Holy Week really is.
